Stuart brings over 26 years of dedicated service in the Fire and Rescue Service, with a strong passion for fire safety, emergency care, and first aid training. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching youth rugby and spending time supporting his family’s love of sport and adventure.
My Story
Stuart brings over 26 years of experience with a local authority Fire and Rescue Service, having served operationally through to the role of Watch Manager. He has also spent more than four years specialising in Fire Safety, during which time he achieved the Skills for Justice Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety.

In addition to his fire service career, Stuart is a qualified First Aid instructor, accredited to deliver training up to First Aid at Work level. He is also Immediate Emergency Care qualified through Fire and Rescue Service medical governance, with advanced training in trauma management.

Stuart is an Associate Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) and a Member of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM), reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional standards and best practice within the industry.

Outside of work, Stuart is passionate about rugby and is actively involved in coaching, currently coaching his daughter’s Under 16s team and the county girls U16 team, plus supporting his younger daughter at Under 14s level. His wife is a PADI Course Director and the owner of Ocean Turtle Diving, a scuba diving company—making adventure and safety a family priority.
